Bethany Stone
Bethany’s pony obsession was enabled by her generous (but naive) non-horsey parents. A true Pony Club childhood ensued, as well as a vast unaffiliated riding career into adulthood.
A first-class University of Nottingham English graduate, Bethany has been writing equestrian features since 2017, first for Horse & Rider and Your Horse before joining Team H&H at the beginning of 2024. Since then, she has also taken to reporting at major British Riding Clubs events and covered the NAF Five Star Winter Dressage Championships in 2026.
She particularly enjoys writing in-depth explorations of the most prestigious riders’ training techniques and equestrian philosophies, and has been lucky to pick the brains of some of the world’s best over her career. A horse owner for more than 20 years, Bethany loves delving into horse care and management topics to share the best advice from experts with her readers.
Elsewhere, Bethany can be found writing about dogs, lifestyle, wellbeing and travel. Her work has featured in publications such as Country Life, The Field, and Breathe.
