A force to be reckoned with through the pony, junior and young rider ranks in eventing, Laura impressively won seven gold medals during her youth career. She has since competed at 4* level, her best result to date being eighth place at Badminton in 2011.
Laura first represented her country at the pony European eventing Championships in 2005 and her previous call-up was at the senior European eventing Championships in 2011 riding Rayef.
Laura’s latest team selection is for the Longines FEI European eventing Championships to be held at Balir Castle later this year. Here she will ride Grand Manoeuvre, owned by Diana Chappell. This horse was produced to four-star level by Nick Gauntlett before Laura took over the reins in 2014. Their notable results as a combination so far are jumping clear across country at Badminton Horse Trials and sixth place at Barbury Castle CIC3*.
Laura is based in Lambourn from where she events a string of horses up to the highest level. During the winter she enjoys riding out National Hunt racehorses.
