Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) logoCould there be any better way to mark the end of the summer season than with the brilliant Horse of the Year Show packed full of national championship classes in showjumping and showing, as well as international showjumping competitions and fantastic displays?

Following the cancellation of the 2020 show owing to the coronavirus pandemic, HOYS 2021 is planning to go ahead on 6-10 October 2021 at the NEC Birmingham Resorts World Arena. The show always attracts a host of top competitors across the disciplines.

A win in one of the HOYS showing finals is the pinnacle for any show animal and their connections. The week of showing culminates in the respective supreme horse and pony of the year championships held on Sunday evening.

Displays at the 2021 show will be confirmed nearer the time, but previously have included delights such as the world famous Lorenzo ‘The Flying Frenchman’, alongside French performer Mélie Philippot and her dancing duo Quizas and Diego. Among the regular favourites are the adrenaline-filled Pony Club mounted games, dog agility finals and much more.

Don’t forget to visit the jam-packed retail village where you can grab a host of bargains for both horse and rider.

Horse & Hound will be reporting on the action as it happens, both during the show here on Horseandhound.co.uk and with a full magazine report.
