  • Find out who the winners were on the final day of the 2021 NAF Five Star Winter Dressage Championships...

Thirteen-year-old Ruby Hughes added a second 2021 national title to her name in the PDS Saddles elementary freestyle silver championship (pictured).

Second to Ruby in the same class was Katie Roberts, but she was just happy to have even made it to Hartpury following a nightmare journey to the competition.

Meanwhile Alice Oppenheimer landed victory in the Nupafeed advanced medium gold aboard Headmore Dionysus.

Amy Woodhead scored a win in the BD medium gold final riding Ivan Carlos.

A superstar showing pony also had some success in-between the white boards, but it was nip-tuck as to whether his rider would be able to compete after she recently broke her leg

    Area Festival finals

Sixteen-year-old Matthew Procter is enjoying some early success in dressage after his recent switch to the discipline from a showing career. He won the Petplan Equine novice under-21 area festival championship.

Another teenager to top the leaderboard today was Demi Howard-Cartwright. She was victorious in the Petplan Equine medium under-21 area festival championship aboard the pony stallion, WFS Top Red.

Find out how two winning riders in both the Petplan Equine advanced medium bronze area festival and the Petplan Equine preliminary bronze area festival championship manage to juggle full-time jobs with competing.
