Meet Laura Collett’s H&H cover star Moonlight Charmer: ‘He’s flourished from going hunting’

Laura Collett says a couple of months hunting has changed advanced eventer Moonlight Charmer from “a bit precious” to looking and feeling “a million dollars”.

The now nine-year-old, who belongs to Charlotte Heber Percy and Teresa Stopford Sackville, joined Laura in 2019 after starting his eventing career with Oxfordshire-based Italian rider Roberto Scalisi. He is beautifully bred for eventing, sharing his sire OBOS Quality 004 with Pippa Funnell’s 2019 Burghley Horse Trials winner MGH Grafton Street.
