    2. ‘Bombproof saint’

    Height: 14hh

    Age: five

    Gender: mare

Selling points: “‘Marvellous Mildred’ is a genuine, stunning, bay cob. She is a fantastic hunter — she stands and goes first or last. She is a bold, surefooted pony and has jumped ditches and has recently started jumping coloured poles. Mildred is snaffle mouthed and never strong. She would suit both children and adults and hacks both alone and in company. She is good with traffic as she lives on a farm. She is 100% to shoe/box/clip etc and lives both in or out. She is never nappy or naughty and is a real sweetie to have around. I have left her as a traditional cob but she would be super smart hogged and legs clipped out.”

    Height: 14.1hh

    Age: six

    Gender: mare

Selling points: “‘Roulette’  is great fun and would make an excellent Pony Club jumping pony. She would suit any small adult or child who want to have fun. She is forward going but not sharp. She has been on hound exercise and autumn hunting with the York and Ainsty South and is great with hounds. She loves cross-country and showjumping and has been placed at unaffiliated competitions. She is fit and ready to go.”

    5. ‘Mother’s dream pony’

    screen-shot-2016-10-04-at-14-08-10

    Height: 11.2hh

    Age: eight

    Gender: mare

Selling points: “‘Benhill Bucks Fizz’ aka Darcy is a very special girl that has an unbelievably kind and forgiving temperament; you have to see it to believe it! Will do anything she can to please and would follow her owner to the ends of the earth. She is an extremely genuine, gentle, loving little girl that will stand all day for kisses and cuddles. She is fantastic with the smallest of children and loves dogs. Turns out with mares or geldings and is bottom of the pecking order. Clean limbed with no lumps or bumps. Good to bath, catch, clip, load, travel, handle, farrier and vet. She is snaffle mouthed at all times and totally trustworthy. She adapts to the rider so will take more leg with a nervous or novice jockey but is more responsive when ridden by confident riders — if she’s unsure of rider capability she will just slow it down a gear. Not sharp or silly and really looks after the precious cargo on board. I can leave her for a month without riding and she will be the same as always when ridden. She schools well and works in a nice little outline. Darcy has a huge jump for such a small pony, jumping cross-country fences of up to 1m with a novice nine-year-old that just held on! She pops round a course of 2’3ft with no problems but will also happily go around a mini course with someone on the lead-rein. Rides and leads from another horse perfectly. Hacks out alone, in company, in front or behind. She has hunted three seasons with a six-year-old boy. Every time this beautiful little girl goes out people make comments regarding her outstanding behaviour, ability, looks and most importantly for a child’s pony (in my eyes) temperament. You literally couldn’t find another pony like our little princess if you searched for an eternity. She would be happy as a family pet used once a month on lead-rein or getting back out hunting and spending the day at the front of the field.”
