European Showjumping Championships

The European showjumping championships 2021 have been allocated to Riesenbeck in Germany, the base of former Olympic champion Ludger Beerbaum, from 30 August to 4 September, by the FEI. Final confirmation that the event will go ahead is currently awaited for the event organisers.

The 2021 championships were initially cancelled after the Tokyo Olympics were pushed back one year owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, following calls from the European Equestrian Federation and some national federations, the FEI decided the championships could go ahead.
