    About the Blue Chip Championships

The annual Blue Chip Championships are being held at Hartpury Arena in Gloucestershire with a full schedule of competitions in both the indoor Championship Arena and the outdoor all-weather Kingsland Equestrian Arena. Classes range from 1m to 1.35m for horses with pony classes starting at 85cm.

The total prize fund has been increased for 2015 and show organiser Kelvin Bywater says: “We are extremely grateful for all the help and support given by our sponsors, without whom these championships would just not be possible”. As well as championship finals, there are also a range of classes at the show which riders do not have to qualify for and hundreds of riders of all ages are expected to flock to Gloucestershire to attend these prestious winter championships.

The show hosts a gala night on Friday with VIP hospitality options available. As well as watching the exciting Blue Chip grand prix, William and Pippa Funnell are hosting a masterclass focusing on preparing horses for competition and spectators can look forward to watching the Kingsland Equestrian Junior Challenge too. Visit the show’s official website for more details.
