    New shoulder guard for horses

    NTM FEBRUARY WEEK 1 07

Back On Track has added a new shoulder guard to its range of horsewear products.

Designed for performance horses and those recovering from shoulder injury, the new guard protects the horse’s withers and shoulders with three placed pads.

The pads are made from high functional three dimension padding to ensure the best airflow.

The shoulder guard puts Welltex fabric around the shoulders, the pectoral muscles in the chest, trapezius around the withers and the deltoid muscle.

Ceramic particles are fused into the fibres of the fabric causing heat to radiate back towards the body.

“This reflected long-wave heat increases blood circulation, which helps relieves joint tension and helps avoid injury,” said a company spokesman.

The shoulder guard is available in sizes 125cm-165cm, priced £67.

Dr Martens launched for women working outdoors

    NTM Dr Martens

The new Rosa ST Boot has been created by Dr Martens to give women a comfortable, warm outdoor safety boot.

The boot comes with faux-fur lining for warmth, has a fully air-cushioned sole, a safety toecap, is anti-static and slip resistant.

In trials, young rider Kate Bleloch, who represented Britain at last year’s European junior eventing championships, said the boots didn’t need wearing in and fitted “perfectly with no rubbing or blisters.”

“They gripped well in icy conditions, were fully waterproof and my feet felt really well supported. The fur lining added to the overall look of the boots and helped keep my feet warm throughout the day,” she added.

The Rosa ST boots cost £90
