Keeping your hands warm and dry is essential when selecting the best waterproof winter yard gloves. Neoprene is a favourite for its waterproof and insulating properties, while many gloves feature multi-layered designs with thermal linings for added warmth. However, it’s important to find a pair that doesn’t compromise dexterity, especially for tasks requiring precision.

For this guide, we focused on gloves with extended cuffs to seal out cold air, excellent grip for frosty tasks, and some that can double as riding gloves for rainy rides. However, they may not provide the same level of control on the reins as the best winter riding gloves. While functionality is the main priority, a touch of style is always a bonus!
