What to wear for BSPS showing classes

Hats

• British standard skull caps/riding hats to PAS015, EN1384 and USA ASTMF1163 must be worn at all times when riding

Dress

• Riding jacket, shirt and tie or stock, breeches or jodhpurs and jodhpur boots or top boots
• Gaiters may be worn but chaps are not allowed
• BSPS approved waterproof jackets may be worn
• Body protectors are not compulsory, but are recommended for WHP and WH classes
• No body jewellery is permitted

Spurs

• Forbidden in all classes run under BSPS rules expect the Associate Horse and for riders 16 years old or over in the over 148cms Anglo and Part Bred classes

Whips

• May not exceed 30” (75cms)
• Hunting crops are permissible
