The winter Aveen Technical top is the perfect base layer. While it has the word ‘winter’ in the product description this is a top that will be suitable for year round use.
The technical fabric of the top means it wicks away moisture from you and it also has antibacterial properties.
I have found this top ideal for riding and running as the technical properties help regulate your temperature and ensure you don’t get a chill after a sweaty exercise session.
I found the fit of the top to be true to size and I really liked the long sleeves that had a thumb hole to help ensure they stayed in place. The high neck with zip up closure gives you the option to keep nice and toasty in the winter or have a bit more air in the summer.
This is the type of sport top with clever technical features that you would more commonly associate with other sports. I’m pleased that equestrian brands are now making items for riders that have more technical features to reflect that riders are taking part in exercise/sport when riding and also need these features from garments.
While I feel this top is comparable in features to a top from one of the mainstream sport brands it has to be mentioned that I do think the price offers good value for money when in comparison to other technical tops on the market at £27.95.
The top has washed up really well after a lot of use, and dries really quickly.
