Join us and help crown #Dujardin4SPOTY
World, Olympic and European dressage champion. Oh, and holder of all three dressage world records. It is hardly suprising Charlotte Dujardin has been nominated for the BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year Award.
H&H wants to ensure Charlotte’s huge talent is fully recognised. The record-breaker has achieved something that no one has ever done before, by holding all three major dressage titles at the same time.
The horse world knows she is amazing and fully deserves the award, but we want to make sure those perhaps not so familiar with dressage appreciate her achievements, not to mention her great character.
The campaign
H&H has created a Twitter campaign to glean as many votes from you, the public, as possible. We’ve got the ball rolling on the H&H Twitter page (see picture above featuring our dressage editor Alice Collins) and now it’s your turn to spread the #Dujardin4SPOTY message (please note: silly horse mask not a prerequisite!).
Here’s three steps to maximising Charlotte’s chances of victory during the live BBC show on Sunday 14 December:
1. Download your own copy of the Charlotte poster
2. Get someone to take a photo of you holding up the poster
Never miss out on the latest happenings in the equestrian world
3. Tweet the picture from your account ensuring you include the hashtag #Dujardin4SPOTY and @horseandhound
It’s that simple!
Now, though, comes the hard bit — ensuring each and every person rooting for the dressage supremo votes.
