The moonwalking Shetland pony Socks hit the big time in 2013 in his Three mobile advert. The Socks’ fancy moves were viewed by 300,000 people in less than 24hr, and the YouTube clip has now been watched more than 10 million times. Who knew Shetlands were such smooth movers?

A pony in a police station
A piebald pony that was caught on CCTV last October wandering into a police station in Cheshire suddenly found himself in every national newspaper, and on TV channels including Sky and CNN.
“We were somewhat saddled with our unexpected guest who in the early hours of Monday morning quickly became the main event of the night shift,” said Superintendent Peter Crowcroft of Cheshire police.“We like to ensure a warm welcome to all our guests at HQ and at neigh point did the horse pose a risk to security.”H&H 5 February 15
