Top riders, judges and professionals combine to provide Badminton commentary

  • Professional voices and top riders and judges will once again combine as the Mars Badminton Horse Trials commentators to bring viewers, listeners and spectators all the action this week (6-10 May).

    Commentators on Badminton TV

    Four-time Olympic commentator John Kyle will anchor the Badminton TV coverage, with guests throughout the week including British eventing medallists Tina Cook and Nicola Wilson, as well as New Zealand championship rider Lucy Jackson.

    Commentators on BBC Badminton coverage

    The Badminton Horse Trials BBC highlights programme, on BBC2 at 1.45pm on Sunday 10 May, will be fronted by familiar faces and voices in Nick Luck, Clare Balding and Tina Cook.

    Commentators on Radio Badminton

    The Badminton Horse Trials commentators for dressage on Radio Badminton are grand prix dressage rider Bobby Hayler Wright and leading judge Christian de Coulon (formerly Landolt).

    For the cross-country and showjumping phases, listeners will hear from five-star riders Matt Heath, Daisy Berkeley and Nick Gauntlett, while more five-star riders will supply the mixed zone interviews in Ben Way and fill the roving reporter role in Ginny Howe.
