‘Every show is a treasured memory now’: Carl Hester and Fame kick off their season with Doha double

Carl Hester and his three-time championship partner Fame opened their 2026 campaign in style with a dominant double at the CHI Al Shaqab in Doha.

The British pair topped the CDI5* grand prix on 75.85%, finishing ahead of Sandra Sysojeva and Maxima Bella (74.28%), then raised the bar to 82.98% in the freestyle to take the €27,000 top prize and seal a clear-cut victory.
