Held in the grounds of Bolesworth Castle in Cheshire, this showjumping show is one of the biggest and brightest fixtures on the jumping calendar.
Recently upgraded to a four-star international show, Bolesworth International ran with great success as a three-star show in 2014 where William Whitaker claimed the headline class. The competition will run just two months before the European Championships in Germany in 2015 so it is hoped big names in the showjumping world will turn out to compete in Cheshire.
Bolesworth promises to be another unmissable four days of high quality competition, not forgetting additional features such as displays, food outlets, fashion and lifestyle shops and many more tradestands ideal for any member of the family. A vintage fair, dog show, camel rides and mini quadbikes will be just a few of the things on offer to keep everyone amused throughout the show.
After the main showjumping classes on the Saturday of the event, visitors will be able to enjoy extra entertainment in the form of a puissance competition and a celebrity polo match. Also don’t miss the Saturday evening concert — this year’s star act will be chart-topping pop band Scouting For Girls.
There are showjumping competitions at two-star, national and amateur level too with more than £250,000 in prize money on offer in total.
