WEG dressage grand prix: Gareth Hughes talks to H&H [VIDEO]
Horse & Hound dressage editor Alice Collins caught up with Gareth Hughes to talk about his grand prix test with Jane Brewin’s DV Stenkjers Nadonna at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. Gareth scored 69.714%, which put him in seventh place at lunchtime on Monday (25 August).
Gareth explains why he is so pleased with how well his mare coped with the atmosphere in the arena. He also discusses the effect of the heavy rain on the footing in the arena, which has been transformed from its normal role as a football stadium into a top equestrian facility.
