Ffos Las racecourse to raise money for families of mining victims
Ffos Las racecourse aims to raise tens of thousands of pounds for the Swansea Valley Miners Appeal Fund from two days of racing.
The fund is to support the families of the victims of the Gleision mining tragedy.
On Friday 4 and Sunday 6 November, a percentage of earnings from admissions, sponsorships and hospitality, as well as raffles and auctions, will be given to the appeal fund.
The racecourse has already raised £25,000 in donations.
