Rio 2016 Olympics dressage
The Rio Olympics dressage competition includes two days of grand prix, followed by a single day of grand prix special, which together decide the team medals. The individual medals are awarded after the grand prix freestyle, which only the top 18 riders after the grand prix and grand prix special are allowed to contest.

Rio Olympics dressage timetable
- 10 August: grand prix day one (UK time: 2pm – 8.00pm)
- 11 August: grand prix day two (UK time: 2pm – 8.00pm)
- 12 August: grand prix special & medal ceremony (UK time: 2pm – 8.30pm)
- 15 August: grand prix freestyle & individual medal ceremony (UK time: 2pm- 6pm)
Horse & Hound will be providing expert interactive written commentary during all four days of the Olympic dressage competition.
