Tickets for Olympia now on sale

  • Tickets for this year’s Olympia, The London International Horse Show, go on sale today (Thursday 30 April).

The 2015 show, which takes place from 15-21 December, will once again host three FEI World Cups in driving, dressage and showjumping.

The Reem Acra FEI World Cup dressage leg takes place on 15 and 16 December, the FEI World Cup driving leg on the 17 and 18th and the Longines FEI World Cup jumping leg on 20 December.

On the Thursday evening performance the highlight is the famous Alltech Christmas Puissance.

Last year spectators were entertained by thrilling equestrian displays from the Ukrainian Cossack riders and the Metropolitan Mounted Police.

This year’s international equestrian displays have not yet been confirmed but the Osborne Refrigerators Shetland Pony Grand National and the Kennel Club Dog Agility will be raising the roof as usual.

Last year’s Olympia was almost a sell-out with more than 90,000 fans visiting the show.

They watched Charlotte Dujardin set two new dressage world records in grand prix and freestyle and top British showjumpers claim several victories.

Ben Maher felt the effects of the home advantage on the final night when he won the Olympia Grand Prix and H&M leading rider award.

“We’re delighted that we can offer equestrian fans the best in world class sport and family entertainment — this is what has made Olympia one of the most sought after events to attend and we’ll be pulling out all the stops to make sure that 2015 is even bigger and better,” said Simon Brooks-Ward, show director.

The Olympia horse show as it is today was started by Simon’s father Raymond Brooks-Ward in 1971.

Ticket prices for the afternoon and evening performances start at £20.
