New chairman for British Horse Society


  • Lynn Petersen has taken over as chairman of the British Horse Society (BHS) following the resignation of Dr Phil Wadey due to business commitments.

    Ms Petersen, who for the past 18 months has overseen the BHS’s modernisation programme, was elected at a trustees’ meeting on 20 March.

    Ms Petersen said: “We have big plans for the future for our members and our charitable activity in welfare, access and safety.

    Carole Road remains as vice-chairman but will share the role with trustee Claire Aldridge.
