Olympic rider Mary King is taking part in an event to promote equestrian holidays.
The Riding Holiday show, put on by In The Saddle, will give information about possible destinations in various parts of the world. And joining the show this year to share her experiences of her worldwide equestrian excursions is Olympic medalist Mary King.
Mary’s most recent equine expedition was a week on safari in Macatoo in the Okavango Delta, Botswana.
“Seeing the world by horseback and getting so close to animals such as an elephant, giraffe and even a lion was a once in a lifetime experience that I will never forget,” she said.
The Riding Holiday Show gives visitors a chance to meet riding guides and experts, with exclusive show offers, competitions and meeting people who share the same interest of traveling as well as a talk from guest speakers, including Mary King.
The Riding holiday show will help the rider find the best holiday to suit their individual specifications, ranging from leisurely trekking for the less experienced riders to exhilarating adventure for the more able riders.
The Riding Show is at the Royal Over-Seas League in London on Saturday, 3 November 2012.
Admission to The Riding Show is free with a pre-booked ticket. To register for tickets and for more information visit: www.ridingholidayshow.com or tel: 01299 272 997
