Free Equi-Trek axle upgrade for owners of pre-2008 trailers
Owners of Equi-Trek Space-Treka and Show-Treka L trailers, which were built before 2008, are invited to take them for a free axle upgrade.
Equi-Trek has written to owners of the two models asking them to take the trailers to their local dealership to have the front axle replaced.
Around 350 boxes are affected.
Equi-Trek managing director Tom Jannion told H&H: “The axle was redesigned in 2008 and there is a concern that a problem may have developed with the axle on some of the older boxes.
“Abuse, such as hitting the kerb or potholes can result in a distortion of the axle over time.”
Contact your local Equi-Trek dealership for more information. No trailers manufactured after 2008 are affected.
