Fans of unbeaten Australian racehorse Black Caviar can now read all about her.
A new book, filled with photos of the mare and interviews with her connections, has been recently published.
The hardback book, Black Caviar, subtitled “The horse that captured the hearts of a nation” costs £19.99.
Black Caviar is unbeaten in 22 races. She was last seen on a racetrack in June, when she won at Royal Ascot.
She is so popular in her homeland that she even became the first horse to appear on the cover of Australian Vogue — posing with model Julia Nobis for the December issue of the magazine.
But after a summer off the mare put on some holiday weight, and is now being worked hard to get fit.
She is being aimed at the Lightening Stakes at Flemington on 16 February, and trainer Peter Moody is reportedly confident she’ll be ready to run. She also had her first public appearance since Ascot at the weekend (Saturday 2 February) with a gallop at Caulfield racetrack.
