Böckmann trailers, a leading European brand, will be distributed in the UK by new company Holden Horse Trailers and Commercials.
Böckmann’s sole UK distributors believe the German-manufactured trailers will be popular with the British market.
“I was so impressed with the Böckmann range, I was convinced others in the UK would be too,” said company founder Russell Holden.
“We have selected models that we feel will be most suited to the UK market and now hold these in stock. We can supply other models from the large range and provide the extensive list of options on request.”
Böckmann trailers have a rigid galvanised chassis with independent suspension. The body is manufactured from plywood, polyester or aluminium, depending on the model, with a sealed alloy base to the floor to prevent corrosion.
“Attention to detail is exceptional,” said Mr Holden. “There is a ‘multi-safe’ system for horse protection [releasing front and rear bars in case of accident], automatic jockey wheel and fully fitted tack box as standard on many models.”
Holden Trailers is establishing a national service network to offer technical support for new and existing Böckmann owners.
