If you fancy doing a bit of showjumping practice in a competition environment but without any of the pressure, take a look at these clear round events you need to enter this week

Friday night clear round
Date: 16 December
Venue: Milton Equestrian Centre, Worksop
Details: “6-6.30pm clear round at 60cm. Rosettes to all clear rounds. Each competitor will be allowed two minutes in the ring.”
British Showjumping clear round
Date: 21 December
Venue: Keysoe, Bedfordshire
Details: “Clear round starts at 8.30am before affiliated classes commence. £7 per round.”
Evening clear round
Date: 22 December
Venue: Grove Farm Equestrian, near Steventon
Details: “From 4pm. Any height available from poles on the ground to the top of the wings. £5 per round or £15 with assistance from Mark Smith. Rosette for each clear round.”
