It will be hard to top the euphoria that last summer’s dressage, para dressage and showjumping Olympic gold-medals stirred — but the British squads heading to Herning in Denmark for the European Championships this week (20-25 August) will be hoping to repeat their success.

Showjumping, dressage and para dressage are all being held at the same venue — at what is deemed to be Denmark’s biggest sporting event of 2013. And this is the first time para dressage will take place alongside other disciplines at the European Championships.
