  • Kingston Maurward

    Mary King’s former international eventer, King Solomon III, helped his former groom and now owner Paula Lee win the medium 69 qualifier, reports Annabel Kendal. The partnership were also placed in their first advanced medium. Weymouth-based Sarah Tyrrell headed the novice 33 restricted qualifier with Last Of The Moets.

    Burrows Court Farm

    Chris Dannan took advantage of the advanced pick-a-test to ride through the grand prix special on Leopardo for the first time, reports Ruth Pearce. Chris also had success in the medium qualifier on Casual Blonde. The pair finished on the same score as restricted winners Polly Fews and Tin Tin II, who also shared top spot with Sarah Hedderly and Donnerstag in the medium 63.

    Addington Manor

    Lisa Hopkins and Prima Courcheval rode the advanced 100 for 69.37% in the advanced pick-a-test class at Addington Manor, reports Ruth Pearce. Paul Friday enjoyed a hat-trick on three different horses. He headed the advanced medium qualifier on Endeavour Fardoos and elementary 43 with Federtcraft Fardoos, as well as taking the medium 64 on Attention Seeker.

    Stilebridge Barn

    Sue McMahon won the advanced medium qualifier at Stilebridge with Starfighter, reports Sally Taylor. Stacy Coates took the advanced medium 86 with Rambello. Jen Murphy and Haysden Nirvana won the medium qualifier and tied for first in the medium 61 with Natalie Brown and Windspiel. Emily Ross Browne and Katie Lawrence vied for top place in the elementaries, riding the intermediate eventer Findon Fire N Ice and Dutch Warmblood Phantom S respectively. Emily took elementary 57, but Katie won the qualifier by three points.
