Equi-Trek is owned by people who have a deep understanding of the needs of both horse and rider.
From smaller trailers through to large horseboxes, Equi-Trek’s range was designed from the outset specifically for the enjoyment and safety of both horse and owner. All Equi-Trek vehicles are built on brand new chassis cabs purchased directly from the manufacturer, all of which have been fully crash tested to all applicable European standards.
Many other horsebox manufacturers build on older, used chassis that have been commercial vans in their previous life; the van body is cut off by the horsebox manufacturer before they add the horsebox on to the van base. This can affect the integrity and safety of the vehicle and would not offer the passengers, both human and equine, the same degree of safety if involved in a collision.
Customers are often led to believe they are buying an equivalent vehicle to an Equi-Trek as the horsebox is sold as new, when it is only the body which is new — the chassis underneath is old and worn, which is reflected in the price at point of sale.
Equi-Trek keeps the interiors of the vehicles light and airy; with full width ramps for ease of loading. Flooring is always made from high quality aluminium, which is far more resistant to rot than many other materials often used in the horsebox industry.
The Equi-Trek range is constantly evolving with aerodynamic styling for exceptional looks, unique two-tone metallic paint design and fuel economy. This makes Equi-Trek one of the most innovative horsebox manufacturers in Europe.
Equi-Trek’s range incorporates beautiful living areas for the owner, with even the smaller trailers having separate tack and storage areas for enjoyment and ease of use. When buying an Equi-Trek you are making a safe investment. Used Equi-Trek horseboxes are always in high demand, many of which are sold by a single telephone conversation before even being seen, such is the confidence in their products.
Due to the rapid growth of the business over the past few years and with more and more customers approaching Equi-Trek directly, the manufacturer has now expanded further with the opening of a brand new sales centre in Meltham, West Yorkshire, which is due to open in October 2013.
On display will be a wide range of new Equi-Trek models, from the trailer range through to the 7.5 tonne Endeavour horsebox. Additionally, the company also has a selection of quality pre-owned Equi-Trek models and a new range of motorhomes from our sister company Moto-Trek.
In order to meet demand, the company is actively seeking to buy Equi-Trek models in a good condition. It is understood that not everyone has the means to purchase a brand new vehicle, and certainly this year our sales of pre-owned vehicles has grown immensely.
Equi-Trek — invest in the best, don’t settle for less!
