Glock’s London foal born in UK

  • A colt by 2012 Olympic silver medal-winning showjumper Glock’s London has been born in the UK.

Breeder Jenny Philcox believes he is the only foal by the famous horse to be born in Britain.

“It’s very exciting” she said. “I’m 99% sure he is the only London foal in the UK. I also confirmed this with Paul Schockemöhle, who had the sole breeding rights to London last year, and he said I am the only one.

“I’m thrilled and will be taking him to the British Equestrian Federation Futurity for assessment later on in the summer.”

He will be registered British Hanoverian.

Ms Philcox’s former PSI auction mare Baconda (by Baloubet Du Rouet) gave birth the foal on Saturday (17 May)

Last month London (Nabab De Reve/Chin Chin) sold for €8.6 million in an online auction.London 2012 Olympics Show jumping 05.08.12
