Golden BMW fleet comes to Vale View Equestrian Centre
As British riders go for gold this summer, Vale View Equestrian Centre has had its own bling experience.
Three golden BMWs were driven into the arena at the Leicestershire centre’s British Showjumping fixture on 1 July.
Showjumper Alex Thompson and Cassal George gamely jumped through the cars as part of their warm-up.
“I’m delighted to have been a part of this Olympic experience and enjoyed the challenge of jumping between these bling cars,” said Alex.
During the 70-day tour (18 May-25 July), the Golden BMW fleet, as the offical car partner of London 2012, has been involved in a variety of activities to help “brighten up” people’s days.
Julie Hyslop from Vale View added: “I couldn’t believe it when they turned up, they looked like they were made of actual gold!
“It was brilliant and Cassal George was very relaxed – it was great to be involved.”
