British squad announced for Nations Cup in Rome

The British squad has been announced for the second leg of the Nations Cup in Rome later this month (24-27 May).

Five riders will travel to Italy but only four will compete.

The squad is:

–Scott Brash and Hello Sanctos , owned by Lady Pauline Kirkham and Lady Pauline Harris

–Peter Charles and Murkas Vindicat W, owned by Olga White, Tara Charles and Team Murka Ltd

–Tina Fletcher and Hello Sailor, owned by Lady Pauline Harris

–William Funnell and Billy Angelo, owned by Julie Slade

–Guy Williams and Depardieu Vant Kiezelhof, owned by Lindsay Doran

The opener to the top-level competition – held in La Baule last week (10-13 May) – was won by Belgium.

Britain came into the competition as one of the favourites but only finished equal fifth.
