Andrew Davies hits form at Unex Towerlands Premier Show

  • Andrew Davies used his final draw to capture the feature Winter A and B grand prix class at Unex Towerlands Premier Show (14-16 March) on Roy and Marlene Edwards’ Perth.

“He jumped fantastically,” said Andrew, fourth twice on the previous two days, “and we won on the right day.”

This was only the second time Andrew has ridden the 11-year-old, bought three years ago from Emile Hendrix.

Elsewhere it was a tussle between Keith Shore and Shane Breen as to who was the man of the match, with three wins apiece.

One of the hottest classes of the show, with the lead constantly changing, was the BSJA Winter Grade C. This was taken by Keith Shore on Pauline Wakefield’s Huntingdon Squire, with Nicole Pavitt claiming second on Elaine Wood’s Kannan Chakira Van Het Hek.
