The Thermomaster summer stable rug with badges is a lightweight stable rug that’s great for the first chilly days and perfect when used for transport or in between seasons. It comes with trendy fashionable badges and piping in contrasting colours, as well as cross surcingles, double front fastening (T-buckles) and a tail strap.
First impressions
Looked like a fantastic rug, but all the badges really did not float my boat.
Overview of performance
This rug ticked all the boxes as it was lightweight, fitted brilliantly, was cool and breathable, but for me all the badges really let it down on the style front. I could not see a place for them on a 6ft6in rug for a horse, but they would be fun on a child’s pony’s rug. Without the badges, this rug would have been outstanding and best in test.
