  • A new beeswax and honey hand cream will leave horse riders’ hands “silky, soft and utterly hydrated” after a harsh winter.

So says Just Bee founder Harriet Scott-Bolton, who created the “ultra nourishing” hand cream using beeswax and honey collected from her family’s beehives on the Quantock Hills in Somerset.

“As a rider and horse owner, I know only too well the havoc such long, bleak and dreary winters can have on my skin,” said Harriet.

“All that breaking ice and being outside leaves my hands feeling dry and chapped.”

Harriet’s solution, the Just Bee ultra nourishing hand cream, also uses rosehip and sweet almond oil “to create a product that is perfect for dry skin”.

The hand cream is available in a 60ml tin costing £8, or a 250ml pump for £12.
