  • A new saddle for classical dressage has been launched by Jeremy Rudge Saddlery.

The saddle is called the “classic 45” with a curve-cut flap which makes it suited to the 45 degree, classical leg position. It comes with a choice of seat styles and 6 alternative knee blocks to suit different leg shapes.

It has been designed in cooperation with Mary Wanless who’s the international tutor of the “ride with your mind” approach to dressage riding, where position is paramount.

“Jeremy Rudge and his partner and saddle fitter Amy Downing have made me a wonderful saddle for Domino, our new school horse, said Mary Wanless. “We have collaborated on the kind of saddle shape that supports good biomechanics and this has been produced in the Classic 45.”
