Showing breeder and HOYS winner dies


  • Showing breeder Barbara Samwells has died aged 75.

    She died peacefully in her sleep on 1 March in Hereford Royal Infirmary.

    Mrs Samwells was also a racehorse trainer, breeder and won the hack title at Horse of the Year Show three years in a row with Lady Teller in the 1960s.
