Middleton Hunt branch of the Pony Club celebrates 80th birthday
Former members of the Middleton Hunt branch of the Pony Club are being asked to dig out their old photos and dredge their memories for the branch’s 80th anniversary.
All past members are invited to come along to the North Yorkshire branch’s party on 6 April at Kirby Grindalythe, near Malton.
Alumni include National Hunt jockey Andrew Tinkler, eventer Jolyse Clancey, Countryside Alliance stalwart Tim Easterby and Paul Nicholls’ wife Georgie.
Branch secretary Sarah Lear said: “We have all been touched by the great fondness with which so many people look back on their days with the Middleton.
“The next set is to dig out those photos and write down their memories and send them to me. We’d love to see as many former members as possible at the party.”
