Showjumper hospitalised following car crash
German showjumper Katrin Eckermann is back on the sidelines after being involved in a car accident.
The 24-year-old was taken to hospital after the road accident earlier this month (21 September).
She injured her collarbone, setting her out for a few weeks.
In July H&H reported how Katrin broke her collarbone at Aachen — falling at exactly the same fence two days running.
Soon after recovery she fell again in Paderborn, this time suffering concussion.
She has cancelled riding at upcoming shows until she is fully recovered.
