According to the first Horse & Hound Online survey, horses make us happier than our partners.
Held over the first weekend of November, out of more than 500 respondents, an amazing 73% said their horse cheered them up.
The survey also stimulated much discussion on the forum, with views ranging from “my husband left me as he couldn’t stand the competition” to “as long as you feed them and excercise them, horses will love you forever”.
