A series of life-sized horse sculptures are set to take over a Scottish town to boost tourism in the area.
The “Ready Steady Gallop” event will see 30 life-sized Clydesdale horse sculptures spread around the South Lanarkshire Hamilton for 10 weeks next summer.

The 1.9m tall models will create a trail around the town and the surrounding area.
Artists from across Scotland have been invited to paint the horses so that each one will have a unique design.
Ready Steady Gallop is being organised by Hamilton Business Improvement District (BID) and Wild in Art — a firm which produces mass participation art events.
Gareth Walker, Hamilton BID manager, said: “This is the first event of its kind in the west of Scotland and it is going to be something really special for locals and visitors to get involved with.
