First British international show of pure-bred Spanish horses
The first British international show of pure-bred Spanish horses is to take place this weekend.
The PRE Show (Pura Raza Espa ±ola/pure-bred Spanish horse) is being held at The College Equestrian Centre, Keysoe in Bedfordshire on Saturday and Sunday (1-2 October).
It is a qualifying competition for the final of the Spanish National Championships for P.R.E. Horses – SICAB 2011 in Spain. It is the first time a qualifier has been held in the UK.
Sixty horses will be taking part in the show.
“For the first show, the time of year and the financial climate we’re really pleased with the volume of entries,” organiser Stephanie Hurstfield told H&H. “It will be a fantastic weekend for anyone who is interested in knowing more about the breed.”
