Count down to Christmas with equine advent calendar
Don’t want your horse to miss out on the festivities?
This year you can help him count down to Christmas with a special equine advent calendar containing tasty treats.
The calendar was designed following the success of a dog version.
“The treats are made from carob and peppermint so are a safe, healthy alternative to other sugary titbits,” said a spokesman for Groomers, who sell the calendars.
“They are perfect for owners who like to get into the spirit of Christmas at the yard. They also a great way to encourage the children to reward their steeds.”
The calendar is designed just as the human versions – with treats concealed behind numbered windows. The treats can be broken into four and be shared between horses.
