Keep on top of FEI rules and regulations with new app

  • Whether you’re a rider needing to check that a piece of tack is legal, or an organiser or course-designer wanting to check fence dimensions — there is now an app for that.

The free FEI RuleApp has been launched on the Apple Store and on Google Play. It allows users to view the latest FEI rules and regulations in a “virtual bookshelf”, both online and offline, on mobile devices.

With an instant search feature embedded, users can find what they need by typing in a few key words. There is also a share function for social applications and the option to print pages for reference.

The new app, which is currently available in English, Chinese, French, German, Italian and Russian.

Users will be updated with any changes to the FEI rules and regulations, and users will be immediately informed via an instant notification on their mobile devices.

The FEI’s head of IT, Gaspard Dufour, said: “The new FEI RuleApp is the latest of our stable of tailored apps for athletes, officials and our growing equestrian fan base.

All our apps are designed to cater for specific needs, and the FEI RuleApp is perfect for everyone preparing for competition and on the ground at events with the helpful online and offline modes.”

Particularly useful links include the FEI anti-doping rules, world ranking lists and qualification requirements for the various disciplines.
