British Horse Society hosts equine welfare conference

  • An equine welfare conference is to be held in Northampton next month.

The British Horse Society has teamed up with British Riding Clubs to put on the conference at Moulton College, Northampton on Saturday 29 October.

The day will focus on equine injuries as well as covering topics on dope testing, lameness, equine therapy and fire rescue.

There will be presentations in the morning and practical demonstrations in the afternoon.

“We have booked a selection of knowledgeable speakers, coupled with practical afternoon sessions which will give our members valuable hands on experience,” Sarah from the BRC told H&H.

Tickets cost £5 and the conference runs from 9.15am-4pm.
