Sixty five horses will contest the final phase of the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials after four were withdrawn before this morning’s horse inspection and one was spun at the trot-up.
The horses not presented were Mark Todd’s Ravenstar, Ludwig Svennerstal’s Alexander, Mattia Luciani’s Parko 4 and H&H’s blogger Lauren Shannon’s Zero Flight (read Lauren’s blog online later this morning).
Six horses were sent to the holding box and then accepted on representation, including Clifton Promise, who is in second place after cross-country for New Zealand’s Jock Paget. The only horse not to be accepted was Andreas Dibowski’s ride Butts Leon from 15th place.
The first showjumping session gets underway at 10.45am, with the main session starting at 1.30pm. Join H&H Live to follow both sessions
