The UK equestrian sponsorship round-up


  • Aloeride has renewed its sponsor with show rider Loraine Homer for the 3rd year running.
    Han Van De Braak owner of Aloeride said: “Loraine is exceptionally talented and we are thrilled to continue to have Loraine as part of ‘Team Aloeride’. Loraine is a fantastic ambassador for Aloeride showcasing the numerous benefits which feeding Aloeride can have on both your horses’ performance and appearance”

    Dubai Duty Free has become the sponsor of Ascot Racecourse, including enhanced Shergar Cup rights.
    Colm McLoughlin, executive vice chairman of Dubai Duty Free, said: “We have been associated with the Shergar Cup from the outset and have seen it develop into a unique and hugely popular event in the British racing and social calendar.
    “We have pledged our continued support until at least 2016 and, for the first time this year, will add sponsorship of every race on the day to our established status as title sponsor of this event and Official Sponsor at one of the world’s leading sporting venues.”

    Ariowear is now the sponsor of ring 4 at Hickstead.
    Director of Hickstead, Lizzy Bunn said: “We’re delighted to welcome Airowear as a new sponsor.  We know that our competitors want to look smart in the ring, and this new body protector helps them to be safer in the saddle and perform at their maximum ability, without compromising on style.”

    Italian brand Parlanti has teamed with 18-year-old showjumper, Jessica Mendoza.
    Fabrizo Perielli from Parlanti, said:   “We have been keeping an eye on Jessica’s progress and have been impressed by her professionalism and  style and are delighted to be supporting her.”

    Showjumper Trevor Breen is now sponsored by Ariat Pro.
    Trevor said: “My whole team have been wearing Ariat boots for years. We can wholeheartedly say that the products have been put through their paces and can’t be beaten ­—­ both on style and quality. We are very excited to help build the Ariat brand even more in the showjumping market and look forward to being part of the team.”

    Spillers has been appointed the official feed supplier of Badminton 2014.

    Markel has renewed its sponsorship with top flat jockey William Buick.
    William Buick, commented: “I am delighted that Markel International has decided to extend its sponsorship. I have enjoyed four successful years with Markel and I hope to continue that success by riding more high profile winners both in the UK and abroad.”

    Badminton debutant Dani Evans has been appointed as Patey’s official brand ambassador.
    Dani said: “I have also produced all my horses including taking 3 different horses to European Championships. My sport has to be a business and I need to make a living from it”.
