The award was presented to Brian Oakley, founder and owner of Oakley Horseboxes, at the annual award to industry dinner in London.

Land Rover and Aston Martin are among previous winners of the award.

“Today’s boxes are far removed from the mahogany built horseboxes built by Oakley 67 years ago,” said a spokesman from the company.

“As the result of Oakley’s continuous pursuit of innovation in design, technology and user experience the boxes today allow for builds of up to 39ft and feature luxury hotel class accommodation within.”
