The Horse & Hound website has retained its position as officially the UK’s top equestrian website according to Experian Hitwise, specialists in website traffic measurement.
Horseandhound.co.uk was the third most-visited site in the Lifestyle: Pets and Animals section during 2012, ahead of Horsemart.co.uk in fifth place. Pets4homes.co.uk currently heads the sector, while no other equestrian sites made the Hitwise Top 10.
H&H website editor Carol Phillips says: “Horseandhound.co.uk has now been officially the UK’s top equestrian website since 2009. We are delighted to retain our position and can’t wait to unveil our exciting new content website, which is due to launch in early April.”
